Are you ready to showcase your cybersecurity prowess and challenge yourself against some of the best in the industry? We are thrilled to introduce the OffSec Versus Tournament. This unique competition is set to offer cybersecurity teams an intense experience through real-world scenarios, setting the stage for three action-packed days of strategic gameplay and skill enhancement.
The Versus Tournament is a virtual event designed specifically for cybersecurity teams. OffSec Versus provides a platform to mimic existing organizational environments and test offensive and defensive security skills in a fully integrated setting. This unique feature of the Enterprise Cyber Range allows for realistic Red vs. Blue training within customizable, live-fire environments.
The Tournament will take place over three days, starting on August 23rd at 12 PM Eastern and concluding on August 25th at 6 PM Eastern. The competition is structured to engage teams in a battle against OffSec’s formidable Blue team machines on our Enterprise Cyber Range platform. With 18 hours of competition spread across the three days, teams will need to stay sharp and focused.
Participation is simple. Gather your ultimate team of four or more and register at our booth #3111 at Black Hat USA. Remember, the competition is exclusively available to those attending the conference, and with spaces being limited, early registration is advised to secure your spot in this tournament. Additionally, you must use a commercial email address when registering, and all participants must be a part of the same organization.
Teams will compete by attacking predefined targets set up by OffSec’s experts on a sophisticated cyber range. Points will be awarded based on performance and displayed on a leaderboard. It’s a high-stakes environment where the bottom 50% of teams will be eliminated daily, ensuring only the best make it to the final rounds.
Strategic team play: This tournament is not just about individual skills but also about how well you can work as part of a team. It’s about strategy, communication, and collective problem-solving, providing a perfect platform to hone these essential skills.
Skill enhancement: Participants will encounter scenarios that mimic real-world cybersecurity challenges. This means you will be applying your knowledge in a practical, high-intensity environment that promotes rapid learning and skill development.
Exclusive competition: The Versus Tournament offers a format that is not found in typical cybersecurity competitions. With its unique elimination style and challenging Blue team machines, it provides a rare opportunity to test your offensive skills in an exclusive environment.
The winning team will receive $250 each to spend at the OffSec and Kali Linux Swag store, and a special badge of honor. The second-place team will not go home empty-handed either, with $75 to spend at the swag store each. All participants will receive $15 credit each and a badge, ensuring that everyone leaves with something to remember the experience by.
The OffSec Versus Tournament at Black Hat USA is more than just a competition; it’s a chance to benchmark your skills against peers, receive hands-on training, and elevate your professional profile. Whether you’re aiming to boost your team’s performance, enhance your individual skills, or just enjoy a unique challenge, this tournament promises to deliver.
We can’t wait to see you and your team at booth #3111. Prepare your skills, gather your team, and join us for an unforgettable adventure!
